UPDATES OF OCTOBER 1999

10.31.1999 BOSS GAMES ANNOUNCES..
that World Driver Championship has shipped to Nintendo of Europe and should be in the production stage by now. European gamers can expect the game to be released within November. Boss was not able to supply an exact release date. But according to the Swedish distributor we should expect the game around the 8th.

10.30.1999 MORE REVIEWS
Lu|g| of The UKA have made two reviews, Road Rash 64 and Magical Tetris Challenge. Check them out here.

TYPICAL...
Toys R Us, Denmark, continues the saga from last year. In their latest ad they show StarCraft64 and Jet Force Gemini as "available now". Well Starcraft got delayed until sometime next spring so there's no way the stores has it. As for Jet Force Gemini, yes it is released in the US. But the Danish Nintendo distributor aint one of the main distributors there there's no way they're able to have the game before everyone else, hmm well they did manage to release Lego Racers in week 42, but well Lego is danish, so they might've had some special agreement.

Toys R Us did the same thing in November 1998, when they announced Zelda64 as available, even before it was released in the US.....

TODAY'S RELEASES
Menace, our source for games from the east, brings us another nice release. NBC is really showing off and gives us a nice French texted game, I know atleast one guy will bitch about this release ;)

Anyway, as you might have noticed I've moved the site to emuclassics.com, whoose owner once again shows that he's damn great person, letting me use even more web space on his server, THANK YOU!

RELEASES SINCE LAST UPDATE
I have chosen to remove the boxart from the main page since it takes too long for most people on modems to load. But in the future I will make a page with scans of boxart, both from Europe and the US. Its planned that it will contain scans of both front and back of each game released. If it's possible, a japanese section will also be added.

10-21-1999 Win Back: Covert Operations Koei USA tc-winba.zip 128mbit

IT'S NOW OFFICIAL...
Nintendo's "game help hotline" use cheat carts to play and finish games. I just received this danish preview video which contained a preview of Duke Nukem Zero Hour. Duke had every gun available in the game and 999 shots with each gun.... hrmmf! I remember when Nintendo tried to prevent the GameGenie for the NES from being released because it would ruin the fun of playing a game, and now they cheat themselves (heh).

OLD SCENE FANZINES...
Digging through my CD of stuff collected through the past 3 years I found these two old fanzines, one called "The N64 Review" and the other "Console64". They were both released back in 1997. CRAZY NATION RELEASES JET FORCE GEMINI *DEMO* CRACK
Unfortunately saving doesnt work. It uses a new flash-rom chip, like pokemon stadium 2, ken griffey slugfest, command & conquer and a couple of others. This was a mix of zelda-like & rare protect, together with flash-rom incompatibility so it was quite painfull for Titanik to make it work.

Download the crack here, or check out the .nfo here.

10.12.1999 WHAT'S NEXT TO BE RELEASED?
Well according to ebworld.com we can expect Knockout Kings 2000 and Earthworm Jim 3D tomorrow. Let's wait and see who gets the games first :)

    ZOOL REVIEW
I've created a small review of Zool, but since I'm no good at reading japanese, the review got kinda short, but check out the screenshots! :)
(screenshots made with a capture card, nto with an emulator).

10.10.1999 The zine opens with the idea to review and comment new game releases in the "n64 scene" as well as stories and rumors. You will not be able to download commercial games here, but you will be able to download all kinds of stuff for your game, like cheats, trainers, cracks and other stuff.

This page is not intended as a competitor to Dextrose, since I wouldnt be able to beat them anyway, heh. This place will not be about development and emulators, it's only made for people with copiers.

    CONTROLLER PAK REVIEWS
One of the things we'll test is Controller paks and give you our oppinion of it's price, reliability, design and other stuff. Click here to check out the first two reviews.
