The ultimate N64 game.. PONG ---------------------------- Coded by OMAN Strider -> This is just what we needed in the drought of no games hehehe... I totally give OMAN credit for this great coding job. It may be PONG but if you can't do better then shut up hehehe... Here's a simple manual heheh, if you want to play a 1 player game don't plug in player 2 and you will play against the computer. And if you want to play 2 player plug in the second controller. And if you want to play 4 players then... Oh never mind mistake =) Strider -> RATINGS 7/10 [It's worth getting since it's only a few "k"... But it is still a nice little coding job by OMan...] -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- FILENAME : SNK-WARG.ZIP RELEASE DATE: May 21st, 1997 !eNf_______________________ ________/\_____ __\ _______/_ _ \__\ / / /_______ / / / ___/ /. / // / // / \_ /_____________/____ /_____/______/\______/ ------------------\/-----------------------> WAR GODS (C) MIDWAY/EUROCOM <-[ 064MBS/V64 ]------------------( N64! )-- FILENAME : AS-WARGD.ZIP RELEASE DATE: May 21st, 1997 .------------------------------------------. |_ <<* >ANTHROX< and >SWAT< *>> _| \______________________________________/ | | | Wargods (c) Midway - USA Final | | | `----------------------[VD64/64M/N64]--' FILENAME : AS-WGODS.ZIP RELEASE DATE: 3 hours later on May 21st, 1997 ANTHROX & SWAT! ----------------- WARGODS ----------------- N64/V64/BLAH BLAH Strider -> You are probably wondering why there are so many releases for one game. Well what happened was that both ANTHROX/SWAT and SNEAKERS got their hands on the release and ripped it... The problem was the the game is 96MB and they both ripped it as a 64MB game... Hence it did not work. People on the net thought it was some type of protection like STARFOX, but alas no... (Heh, it wouldn't be worth protecting this game.) I guess you see the ratings coming for it. Anyway AS then released a 128MB file, which of coarse is the corrected one. This game was slightly anticipated (mostly due to the fact that there were no new games coming out.) and is mostly a disapointment to most people. The graphics are good but not good enough. The characters are kinda blocky and I dunno if I am blind or something but the game seems to skip frames sometimes... The controls are responsive and control well, however seeing this is a 2 player game you would think it is fun to fight each other. I did not see the fun. Most people have been asking the big question.... Is it better than MKT or KIGold... In my opinion no, however there will be many people defending the game. I am hoping the next fighting game released (DARK RIFT) is gonna be better... I am predicting it will be... But we will have to see... Strider -> RATINGS 5/10 [There's just something about this game that didn't make it a hit...] -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- <*> OTHER RELEASE COMMENTS <*> -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- FILENAME : RT13U.ZIP RELEASE DATE: May 31st, 1997 RTOOL v1.30 (c) ICE AGE 1997 -* Upgrade Version *- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- FILENAME : RT13F.ZIP RELEASE DATE: May 31st, 1997 RTOOL v1.30 (c) ICE AGE 1997 -* Full Instalation *- This is the newest version of RTOOL64. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- FILENAME : SRAM_1BS.ZIP RELEASE DATE: May 31st, 1997 SRAM Manager 1.0B 16MBIT-Version!
