DP4 is a 1Meg controller memory pack
for N64 developed by Bung Enterprises Limited. DP4's capacity is four times the size of
the original N64 controller pak. There are four banks and each can save up to 123pages
with a total of 492pages for four banks. As the DP4 is four times the size of the original
memory pak, there is a wheel to adjust the bank which are number 1, 2, 3 and 4. It is easy
to use and remember the setting for DP4 as it uses only one wheel with banks 1, 2, 3, 4
whereas other 1M memory pak uses DIP switch which is difficult to remember the combination
(on/on, on/off, off/on, off/off). DP4 is 100% compatible with Doctor V64.
Usage for DP4
1. Make sure that the N64 is turned
off, insert the DP4 into the slot under the N64 controller, and adjust to the bank where
the game is to be stored.
2. Turn on the N64 and "save
game data" will automatically be stored into it.
