Dream Come True
Doctor GB Card for Amateur Coders and Programmers:
Doctor GB card is a dream come true for both amateur and professional coders/programmers. The Doctor GB card is a low cost Gameboy format ROM emulator cartridge but yet powerful enough to meet the requirements that official developers demand. Now amateur coders can have access to powerful Gameboy format development hardware.

Amateur coders/programmers have no access to development device like the Doctor GB card. We have seen many amateur coders who have coded their own Gameboy programs but have no hardware to test it. Many use PC based software emulators to test their programs, but it is different from actual running from Gameboy hardware. Some have resorted to make their own Doctor GB card like cartridge, but the transfer rate is more than 20 times of Doctor GB card and there are many soldering to be done. Furthermore, most homemade ROM emulator cartridges are modified from an original cartridge, which is expensive, difficult to make and might not support all SRAM formats. Doctor GB card uses FlashROM and does not require battery to retain data. The built-in SRAM supports Gameboy MBC1, MBC2 and MBC5 SRAM formats, 4mbits GB Card has a built-in 256kbits SRAM and automatically allows up to four different games to store memory in it. Both 16mbits and 64mbits GB Card have 1mbits SRAM built-in. The Doctor GB card price is so low, even high school students who wants to start projects on Gameboy programming can afford it..

Doctor GB card is perfect for non-official game developers who wants to try programming on the Gameboy format but do not have the hardware available yet as only official developers can have access to official Gameboy development devices.

The Doctor GB card allows amateur coders to use it as a stepping stone to being an official programmer. Amateur coders can use it to write Gameboy format demo programs to show off their programming skill and send it to official game developers.

With the multiple ROM file support for the Doctor GB card, amateur coders only need one Doctor GB card to send multiple Gameboy format graphic demos and game demos. With the easy on-screen menu selection, selecting a ROM file is as easy as 123.
