Powerful support to Pocket Voice to let users making their own movie to be played in Gameboy with Pocket Voice easily. You can capture part of your own movie in 21 seconds '.avi' file and use the 'Fast Movie Processor' (can be found easily in Internet search) to convert the '.avi' file to 48 '.tga' picture files (24 bit color, 128x128, uncompressed), then use 'p48.bat'(if you already fix the frame rate at 2.28 frames per second : 21 seconds=48 frames) or 's48.bat'(if you used webcam to capture a live view and set the frame rate at 10 frames per second : 21 seconds=210 frames, then this batch file will choose 48 frames from it) to call Jeff's routine 'TGA2GBC' to convert each '.tga' file to Hi-color data format files. Finally use the GBX-tools v1.5x to pack all picture files (each picture includes '.til' and '.pal' files) with mini game(s) and music data (1--3) and write it totally to a Pocket Voice. You can record the 21 seconds audio by using a Gameboy with Pocket voice. Now you can play any extracted movie in your Gameboy with Pocket Voice !

Due to a lot of entries sending to us this week, in order to give more chance and time for our participants to submit their entries. Our last collection time for Amateur 3rd GameBoy format game Coding competition will be postponed to 20th Jan 2000 (HK time 18:00), and the result will be announced on 25th Jan 2000. Except the date of deadline changed, all the regulations and rewards are still the same as last announcement. Please remember to submit your entries with the registration form with detail information.

All rewards for winners of the first, second, third prize & consolation prizes will be shiped on or before 2nd Feb 2000 after the voting period. Prizes for all the winners have been reserved included Starter's Kit for those consolation prizes. Most of the entries (estimated more than 30) could win our Starter's Kit as consolation prizes and the rest of them, which only send us with very simple game codes could still get a reward from our company. It is a new hardware compatible with GameBoyTM.

Thanks for all those who have supported our Second Round Competition. It is ended at 1:00pm on 4 October 1999 (Hong Kong time). We have received total 66 entries and 64 of them are now released and the last 2 entries will be released before 8 October 1999 for the one-week public voting period. So, go ahead to vote for your favorites!

Final results for winners of the first, second, third prize & consolation prizes will be released in 3 days after the voting period. All the entries excepted the winners could also have a reward from our company. For details of it, please note the latest news on our website!

Our products Starter's Kit & GB Card (4M) are no longer available from now on! For the products of Doctor GB Xchanger & GB Card series, you can order more powerful GB Card (16M) and GB Card (64M) with our Doctor GB Xchanger.

All the entries released on our website are confirmed to enter the second round competition. You can still upgrade the version of it before our last collecting time (1:00pm of 4 October 1999).

If your game file was submitted before 28 Sept 1999 but you can not find it there, or if you want to upgrade your game code version, or add-in background music or change the music for your game code, please resend it to ' info@bung.com.hk ' again, our last collecting time will be postponed to 1:00pm of 4 October 1999 (Hong Kong time) because of the holiday (Chinese National - Day ).

All competitors please provide a brief introduction as player's guideline & verify the main source of your game codes and authorize our company to use these codes on our products for non-commercial reason or apply the codes on our website for free download.

The old model of Doctor V64 Junior (256M) is not available from now on !
But still, you can send it back and ask for an upgrade by an additional charge of HK$990-/pc.

Is there any difference between them?

Out looking: different colored case give the new one a fantastic out looking;
Hardware: memory for data is more stable than old one;
Software: DRJRWIN2.0 available, and
(1) EPP 32bit mode support a fast speed of data transferring (20% faster than old model);
(2) Transfer DRAM data back to PC ( 64M to 512M);

If you send your game code in several version , please verified which version is the one you draw-in to the competition.
Otherwise, the latest version we received from you will be draw-in to the competition as your game's code.
