1st Amateur GameboyTM Format Games Coding Competition

Bung Enterprises Limited will be organizing its first GameboyTM format games coding competition. This competition is open to everyone but all participants must follow all the 'Rules and Regulation' stated below. The deadline of this competition will be on June 30th 1999 and results of this competition will announce on July 8th 1999. The first three prizes will automatically be submitted into our next competition, which is the 'Year 2000 GameboyTM Coding Competition'. Winners of this competition might not only be a one time winner, if the entry is good, it might even have the possibility of winning the 'Year 2000 GameboyTM Coding Competition' which will have even more attractive prizes.

The prizes for this first competition is as follows:

1st :  US$500
2nd : US$350
3rd : US$150

*Consolation prizes: US$50 credit for all our products (includes shipping charges)

Lottery/Lucky Draw: All entrants will automatically be submitted into the 'Year 2000 GameboyTM Coding Competition Lucky Draw'. Please read the 'Year 2000 GameboyTM Coding Competition' Lottery/Lucky Draw section for more details.

*Consolation prizes shall not be exchangeable for cash and will only be given to entries that have chosen by us. There is no minimum or maximum numbers of consolation prizes, so the chances of winning are big even if there are many entries.

If this first competition is a success and we have receive many entries, we will consider holding another competition before the 'Year 2000 GameboyTM Coding Competition'.

Year 2000 GameboyTM Coding Competition)
We intent to make this GameboyTM Coding competition a long-term event for as long as the commercial life span of GameboyTM. The top 3 winners for the first competition will automatically be submitted into our 'Year 2000 GameboyTM Coding competition'. It will have bigger and more attractive prizes, deadline for the competition will be on January 5th, 2000 and results will be posted on 10th January 2000. The following are the tentative prizes we have in consideration.

US$2000 cash, Portable DVD players with TFT screen, Future Consoles (e.g PSX2, Dreamcast), all expenses paid to visit the E3 exhibition in Atlanta next year (2000), etc.

Lottery/Lucky Draw Event- All non-top 3-winner participants for both competitions will be eligible for a Lottery/Lucky Draw event. Consolation prizes will be given, however we have not decided on the prizes that we will give out yet.

Rules and regulation:

· All entries must be a game and must playable on an actual GameboyTM console.
· Deadline will be set on the 30th of June 1999, all entries must be submitted on or before this date.
· Entries can be submitted as a group but there will only be one prize for one entry and the prize will be split between the members of the group.
· There is no limit on the number of entries, participant can submit as much entries as they want.
· All entries should not have any nudity, pornography, bad language and racist content.
· To avoid someone from using other people's work to submit as an entry, all entries must be submitted with the source code and they must specify which versions of assembler/compliers/tools are used.
· Bung Enterprises Limited will have the rights to use all entries for promotion and distribution as a freeware which can be downloaded from the Internet or in any other media without prior consent from the participant.
