The tool is for Comms Link version. But since most CD64 users have a Parallel Port Adapter, a PPA version is being worked on, although its progressing slowly. Click here to download 08.27.2000 DOCTOR V64 BIOS COLOR Ever been tired of the greenish screen in the V64 bios? but you weren't sure how to change the color, or didnt even know it could be done. Well here's a few zips which includes the last known V64 bios (2.03) where I have change the bios menu background to different colors: Black - Blue - Green - Purple - Red Send one of these files to your Doctor V64 by using the DOS based TCP program and follow the on screen instructions. Note that you cannot use Rtool to send the bios file. The files can be loaded from a CD-ROM aswell. 08.24.2000 IT'S HERE AND IT'S FUCKING UGLY If you've been on IRC today or any videogame site today, you've probably heard it. They finally did it, announced the name and design for Nintendo's next console, now formerly known as Dolphin. The name is, as rumors said, something "cube'ish", Nintendo GameCube to be exact. it's a small 9 x 9 inch box which probably will be comming in all sorts of colors. To be honest, they should've kept the Dolphin name and the design sure isnt something which will win a lot of design awards, this tiny box will be something no one wants sitting on a shelf when it isnt being used, unlike the Nintendo64. On the back of the GameCube is a small handle to that you can carry it around where ever you go, but seriously, it'll never become a new hot Discman or something, just try sticking it in your pocket. Anyway, I ofcourse will be buying this lame looking system with the lame sounding name, and who knows it might not be that bad once you see it live.... oh doesnt the front look a little like the Dreamcast with PSX memory card slots? hmmmm... I believe I saw the first signs of the game back in 1997 and it should've been released sometime during 1998, but it ran into one delay after another. Then the Expansion Pak was released and the publisher and developer, GT Interactive & Eurocom, decided to optimize the game for use with the 8meg memory pak. Since then the game, again, has been delayed over and over, leaving most people wondering if they even release it, but it somehow managed to stay listed on the release, latest date was 2nd August and I really was looking forward and hoping that it finally would be released. But a few days ago the release list was updated and 40 Winks slipped to 17th October. But I'm starting to doubt that it'll ever be released, which is a damn shame as its a kickass game. I guess we'll you have to go and get a copy for the Grey bastard called P-S..hite-X.
