Wroooooommm!!!! Wrooooooomm!! Roadsters is finally here, only a year later than it was suppposed to, which probably is why they choose to rename the game. Originally it was called Roadsters '98, then Roadsters '99 and finally renamed to Roadsters Trophy. A year more in development should be able to make a game slightly better and Roadsters sure is candy for the eyes. Many people cursed when Top Gear Rally 2 was released and didnt have expansion pak support, but it was a great game anyway. Roadsters has both great graphics and excellent control and stages, just as Top Gear Rally 2. The game features real car names and models from BMW, Mazda and Porche, just to name a few. It features 10 different circuits, which may not sound as a lot, but they are being reversed at some point in the game, so it's like driving a new circuits. It uses the controller pak to saves, requires 13 pages, and rumble pak support. You can choose between 3 types of racing, Time Trial, Quick Race and Roadster Trophy which is the grand prix. There are 3 grand prix categories, A, B and C, and to be able to move on to the next category you need to be number 1 in the season. Each car has to be handled differently, some tend to slip in road turns, which makes it quite difficult to stay at max speed. So choose wisely, its not always the fastest car which is the best. It's hard to believe that this game is based on the engine from Automobili Lamborghini, wasnt that bad just tho, and created by the team behind Superman, which has to be one of the worst games sofar.
