Ever since the Gameboy Advance was released back in March 2001, people have been complaining about not having a backlit screen, but also the ability to connect their handheld to a TV making it a real videogame system, similar to the Super Nintendo. At this years E3 show in Los Angeles one company, Yobo, did announce a project which eventually would allow people to hook up their GBA to a TV. Yobo wasn't able to present even a running prototype at E3 and the company haven't really given out any news regarding their project ever since. But now another tv-hookup is announced, this time by Games'Ark and under the name Television De Advance (TDA). The unit piggybacks your GBA unit and hooks up to any TV with A/V inputs. A cable gong from the TDA to the GBA's phone jack routes the audio signals from the GBA to the TV. But the TDA also requires that you open up your GBA and connect a cable to the Gameboy Advance' motherboard, this will most likely make the warranty void, but how often do you use such a warranty anyway? New information was supposed to be out as this was written, such as an exact release date aswell as the final retail price, but Games'Ark has been very quiet ever since the announcement on their site.
