I was checking out some cart scans at GBADEV.ORG and noticed that ChuChu Rocket uses FLASH to save (versus EEPROM like Super Mario Advance or SRAM like most other GBA games).  I also noticed that ChuChu Rocket saves fine when using the Flash Advance 64M Card.  In fact I can even backup and restore the save.

If ChuChu Rocket uses FLASH RAM why does saving work using the Flash Advance?  Does the Flash Advance support FLASH saves?   How is this working?
