SN64 Support for Nintendo OS 2.0K and Developers Toolkit 5.0

We have received the October 1999 Developer CDs from Nintendo, and have converted their libraries and ported most of the accompanying demos to work with the SN64 devkit.

Common issues with 2.0K libs

The Ultra 2.0K libraries, if converted with ELFCONV pre-v0.37, can cause link-time errors, including:

• Linker fails to find definition for osInitialize
• Linker reports multiple definitions of <symbol>, where <symbol> looks like a filename, eg regdef.h

If you are getting any of these problems, you need to get the software upgrades listed below. Then either reconvert the libs yourself, or download the converted libs from us.

Software updates

• ELFCONV : updated to version 0.37, fixing a bug whereby local symbols in section 0 were converted as XDEFs.
• CCN64 : updated to version 3.06.0019, adding new preprocessor definitions for compatibility with the 2.0K headers.

OS 2.0K demos    (download the file: ultra-20k-demos.zip)

This package contains makefiles, linker scripts, and any C files which need modification, to allow the Ulta 2.0K demos to be built and run with the SN64 devkit.

All paths are relative to 'ultra'. Unzip the download file to 'ultra'.

Demos marked 'tbd' are not ported as yet; they'll be ported either shortly or not at all.

Some demos are not portable to the SN64, for the given reason in each case.
